Do I really need a trial?

A trial is chance to discuss and play with makeup. We get to play with different looks and see what makes you feel your absolute best. Your trial is also a good time to get to know each other and see how we work together.

Okay, I’ve decided I want a trial… but when?

Trial’s are offered during the week Monday – Friday. I recommend having the trial done when you have an event such as; engagement photos, bachelorette or bridal shower. This way you can see how the makeup looks in photos and you can feel your best.

My wedding is an hour outside Ottawa… how much is the travel fee?

Travel fee’s vary depending on the location. Please send me an email to get an accurate quote.

Do I or my bridal party need to bring our own makeup?

As the bride you are covered! Just bring yourself and a glass of wine. Your bridal party should bring a lipstick and lip gloss that they can use throughout the day to reapply. When picking out their lipstick and lip gloss it doesn’t matter the brand, I only recommend getting a natural color.

What kind of space do you need?

Here are a list of things that are required so I can do my job efficiently;
 1. A room with adequate lighting

2.       Tall chair or Stool

3.       A large work station (desk or table to set up on)

4.       Private space where there is plenty of room to move around

What do I need to tell me guests getting makeup done?

1.       Everyone come with clean faces, without makeup

2.       Leave your phones with your belongings

3.       Use the washroom first then grab a drink and relax!

4.       Have a photo or idea of what you would like

How much time do I need to allot for makeup?

This can completely vary depending on the complexity of the look desired and how smooth things are running on the day. Firstly it takes about 15 minutes to set everything up and then an additional 15 minutes to clean and put everything away. As for preforming the actual service, it takes 45 minutes for the bride and 30 minutes per bridesmaid. Of course these times can vary, so I always put an additional 30 minutes onto the schedule.

Please send me an email to discuss your timeline further if you have questions!

How does payment work?

1 Month before your wedding I will send you a detailed invoice including every application, add-ons and travel charges. Payment must be made 1 week before the date of your wedding through e-transfer. If there are any additional add-ons, on the day you can pay cash.
